Summer School Student Instagram Takeover !

With the current global situation, this year’s Summer School was quite different to what we’re used to. Despite this, participants and tutors still enjoyed a different, yet fun and rewarding week!

To create a connection amongst participants, we gave students the opportunity to takeover our socials, which gave everyone a sneak peak into the day in the life of a young composer.

Back from the first day of the SoundAndMusic virtual summer course! Today in the jazz group we covered several jazz standards and analyses them in detail so we could take ideas and inspiration for our own pieces. Earlier on today we also took part in 2 taster session, a vocal session and an instrumental session – these gave me a broader sense of the subtleties in writing for these groups! I’ve also had the chance this evening to start working on my own piece which will be recorded along with all the other jazz students pieces on Friday! Can positively say that my experience of the SoundAndMusic summer course has been very inspiring so far. Very excited for the next few days! #samsummerschool #adayinthelife
