Thrilled at the prospect of unleashing our various notions and ideas onto Sibelius, we rushed to the computer rooms. We still had ‘mini-workshops’ which have provided us with the opportunity to listen our compositions by the performers, even if the vocal pieces were in the embryonic stages.

Workshops such as these additionally enabled me to expand and alter my initial ideas based on personal feedback from the performers – something I felt was both highly useful and a terrific experience as not only did it allow me to think in a direction which I had perhaps not contemplated before, but equally tailor my piece to the performers, making it all the more personal. I am thoroughly looking forwards to an equally productive day tomorrow.
